What is YummyWeb?

YummyWeb is a new and easy way to order food fast.
You select from full restaurant menus, submit your order, and we fax it to the restaurant.

What are the benefits of YummyWeb online ordering?

Your order is placed quickly, accurately, and from up-to-date menus.
No more fumbling around for delivery menus or phone numbers.
No more misunderstandings over the phone.

I am outside of the Vancouver area, can I purchase a meal on as a gift for a friend in the Vancouver area?

Although it is a nice gesture, in order to protect credit card users from fraudulent use, most restaurants require a credit card imprint on pick up or delivery.  We'd suggest you look at other delivery services on our Links page, which may be more open to such an arrangement.

How do I know the restaurant has received my order?

The restaurant will phone you to confirm the order, and arrange payment details.

Does it cost to order online?

The service is absolutely FREE to use. Menu prices are the same or better than ordering directly from the restaurant.

Do I need a membership to use the YummyWeb service?

No membership is required to order food. However, we provide convenience features (such as recalling your address or favourite orders) which are only available to members.

How do I pay for my food order?

You pay the restaurant for your order, the same as if you placed the order by phone.

Can I leave special delivery instructions, such as deliver to the back door, or intercom numbers?

Yes, your YummyWeb order will allow for special delivery instructions.
With membership, you are able to save these instructions, along with your favourite delivery addresses.

How do I know if my order was sent successfully?

You can click our proprietary “Check Transmission Status” button on the order confirmation page, which reports to you the status of the fax.

You should also receive a confirmation phone call from the restaurant. If you don't hear from them within 5 or 10 minutes, you should call them at the phone number provided on the order confirmation page.

What does YummyWeb do with the personal information I provide?

Your information stays with us. We ask only for the information we need to provide you with excellent service.
